2020 Conference Main

Financial Planning Conference

Presented by the Financial Planning Program at Texas A&M University, this two-week event is about networking, learning and engaging. Financial planning firms looking to hire are invited to connect with our students during the Student Connection Week. Industry professionals, students and university faculty/staff are invited to attend the education sessions to learn about leading-edge strategies and explore emerging topics in financial planning.

Overview

Week 1
October 12 – 16, 2020
Student Connection Week

Given our inability to host live events this fall, we have restructured our Interview Day. The Student Connection Week replaces our Interview Sessions and will be open to companies looking to hire full-time and interns. There is no cost to participate but registration is required. Registration will be separate from the Conference & Education Sessions. More details are below.

Week 2
October 22 & 23, 2020
Financial Planning Conference & Education Sessions

This two day virtual event will briefly highlight our program updates, celebrate scholarship and award winners, and then feature an interactive keynote from two leading behavioral scientists. We are also partnering with financial planning programs across the nation to host professional speakers. There is no cost to participate, but registration is required. More details are below.

Location
All events for the 2020 Financial Planning Career & Education Conference will be held virtually. Any partnership in the Financial Planning Career & Education Conference will go directly to support student engagement in industry events that build leadership and relationships within the financial planning profession. We thank you for your commitment to Texas A&M University and building a helping profession together.
