EXPLORE UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION
in the Texas A&M Financial Planning Program

Undergraduate Programs
The Financial Planning Program at Texas A&M University is more than just a degree. We build leaders and prepare students to excel as trusted wealth management professionals.
Our CFP® Board-registered curriculum combines the technical side of financial planning with the human element. You will learn how money works through courses in investing, tax strategy, retirement, estate planning, and insurance. At the same time, you will explore why people make financial decisions by studying client communication, behavioral finance, and the psychology of money. The result is a well-rounded education that prepares you to put the client first, build trust, and serve clients with confidence.

Professional Credentials
The Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning at Texas A&M is a CFP Board-registered program, recognized as the gold standard for preparing future financial advisors. Our curriculum meets the rigorous education requirements for the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, ensuring you graduate with the knowledge, skills, and credibility to succeed in the profession. Upon completion of your degree, you’ll be fully eligible to sit for the CFP® Exam and take the next step toward becoming a trusted financial planner.
